server down message when trying to list item to sell

I've been trying to list an item but every time I click on the sell button I get a popup that says It's not you , It's us. Our server is down but the problem should be solved shortly. Well it's been 3 or 4 days now and I still can't list an item to sell. What gives?

Well you're obviously an established member, so the usual problems newbies face shouldn't be a problem.

What happens if you change browsers? I use Firefox since I had problems with another one some years ago.

Try using your browser's private mode or deleting the cookies in your browser.

I've noticed parts of eBay being a bit flaky over the last few days --switching to private mode worked to solve one issue.

I have been list. My start point was an old listing and using sell similar, rather than a fresh new listing.

I don't think I have used the "sell" button in years...

If I am making a new listing I use "sell similar" and make all the necessary edits and changes. No issues.
