I have a few questions, so I'll put them in separate posts to make it a little easier.

In my stores, my listings still show my HST number at the bottom of the listings even though eBay is now handling the tax and collecting under their own numbers. When is something going to be done about this as it could be problematic for a buyer, especially if they don't know how to find the proper tax receipt and simply copy the number down from the listing? As sellers, are we supposed to remove our HST number from the VAT page (ebay.ca/spr/vat) to prevent this from happening, or will removing it screw something else up (like the HST election)?

I just opened an additonal store a few days ago (business account, flipisticscards). For my other two stores (also business accounts) I had high limits right from the start (I think it was 10k listings and $100k) and those limits carried through from opening the account to opening a store on the account (as one would expect). Indeed, it showed high limits when I opened the new account as well, but as soon as I subscribed to a store on the account the limits immediately dropped to 100 listings and ~ $8k. Has there been some kind of policy change, or is this a bug? All three stores are listed under the same business name and linked to the same SIN and Managed Payments accounts. The other two stores are in good standing (one top rated, the other a few transactions shy but meets all the other requirements).

As the new store was intended to be for things like postcards that require lots of listings and have a low sell-through rate, a limit of 100 items simply does not make the store feasible. Could you please see if this is a bug? If not, I'd very much appreciate having the limits on the flipisticscards store raised (the number of listings in particular). I wasn't sure if the option to request a listing increase was simply algorithmically based or whether it was reviewed by an actual person, so I haven't tried that. It would be ridiculous to have to siphon off unrelated items from my other stores for the new one just to establish a record and get the limits raised, then switch it over to selling what the store was intended for in the first place.

I can understand lower limits for someone new to the platform or someone who has taken an extended break, but that's not the case here. If this is for some reason intentional, then I would like to make the feedback suggestion that a seller's other store limits be taken into account in the limits on a new store.

As a point of feedback, it would be great if eBay would start producing and selling lettermail compliant boxes in the shipping supplies store. It would also be nice if we could get access to higher quantities of the bubble mailers (like sellers in the States do) rather than only 100. Since a large part of the cost seems to be the built-in free shipping, the ability to buy in larger quantities would be helpful.

Hello Elizabeth,

Could you please confirm where funds are supposed to be removed when a customer cancels an order AFTER payment. I have been told by agents that it should be from the pending transation. This does not seem to be true. On several occasions funds were pulled from my bank account even tho fund were never sent. A cancel should be straight reversal. Seeing as eBay is the processor of these funds, cancellations should be handled from those funds.

It is similar to Promoted Fees which should be pulled from the pending charge. Not from a bank balance Because you can only "attempt" to hold funds(CANADA- playing with payout settings) it makes it difficult to always be able to cover store fees. In Canada on many accounts there can be additional fees for over the limit monthly transactions. Has there been any update as to when processed funds can be used for other purchases like what is available in the USA?

Thanks,

-Lotzofuniquegoodies

PS. This is also a major concern for sellers that use eBay labels and the delay(s) in processing shipments. Funds not being in the right place at the right time.

Hi @6thsensecollectibles. There is an active site issue out for this currently (ALERT14151) which I've added you to for our technical team. In the meantime, please attempt to purchase in an incognito window (Google Chrome > CTRL+SHIFT+N)

Hey @lotzofuniquegoodies. We're going to reach out to our Payment Specialist's on this to get confirmation, and then we'll touch base on their response.
