I don't know if anyone post this before, I don't think I see a thread for it and my apologies if this is a double post.

This morning (18+ hours ago) before I headed out for work I noticed this popped up under My eBay... I swear this was not there last night.

On My eBay page it says my promo was good from Aug 1 to Sept 1. I did NOT receive any e-mail about or nor My eBay messages about it... it just randomly popped up under promotional offers. I did try to list one GTC item and it indeed took 1 off the 50000 counter. This promo didn't require activating and what not, and if you read the fine print, instead of writing a set of dates, it said "Promotion starts on the stated date communicated to you, at 00:00:01 ET, and will end on the stated date communicated to you, at 23:59:59 ET"...

So is this actually an ongoing promo that rotates between different members as determined by eBay?

The problem is that since it's GTC you gotta remember to end it before day 30 or else eBay auto-relists and will charge a bunch of insertion fee...

Yes I noticed that as well as the URL says 0301. Does it mean this promo is randomly given to different sellers at different times and some people already got it back in March?

Just a few minutes ago I got an e-mail from eBay telling me I got "enrolled" into this promo but it's supposed to be a "90 day Zero Insertion Fee promotion"? Under my eBay it definitely shows that it's ending on Sept 1st though. I wonder if I'll get a new batch of 50000 listings in September...

I had this promo for a few months (no longer as of July) and didn't get an email either. It is some kind of ongoing promo and always dated from the 1st to the 1st even when I first received it later in the month. At first I was cancelling all the GTC listings due to uncertainty if it would continue, but as it continued I was able to let them renew automatically and it would take them out of the next month's promotion. Just check at the end of the month and you might get it again.
