Has anyone here used the PO service where they pick the parcels up for shipping?
I'm wondering if the stamp and/or scan packages on pickup.

They would scan at your door if there is an applicable scan. (To clarify, your packages would have to be all processed and ready when the driver arrives). In olden days your pick up was itemized on a manually written report. 1 copy for you and 1 for the driver. Now, I believe when you schedule a pick up it should create a report for you. Hitting send triggers the driver to show up. The alternative is IF you have the volume, to have a daily scheduled pickup. With past companies because we had the volume we had a lock box outside our building and driver could pick up after hours. They would sign and leave a copy of the report. Ahhh the days of metered mail and not having to worry about dimensional weight and just shipping to Canadian addresses.

Thank You. I didn't realize there's a charge for the service until I actually booked it just now. Any idea if they charge for additional packages? I'm pretty sure it's $3.50/package but maybe not.

Pickup can be free, IF you have something to ship on "free" October Tuesdays. It's part of the promo offer from Canada Post as an add on for a Canadian "free" shipping label.
