About Creating Return Shipping Labels

I recently posted instructions here about how to create return shipping labels for items being returned within Canada.

(Repeated Below.)

I just checked the Shippo site and it seems that it's possible to add various carriers such as Australian Post, Deutsche Post and others, but USPS is not on the list of carriers that can be added on Shippo.

However, Asendia US is on the list.   I quickly Googled Asendia US and it seems that it might be less expensive than USPS and works closely with USPS.

Does anyone know anything about Asendia?  I'm not sure if it can be added to our list of carriers but  I'm thinking it might be worth the effort to look into it.

Repeated from another Thread:

""" You can create labels on Shippo even if the items were not sold on a venue such as eBay and that's how you create return labels etc..

It only takes a few minutes to add CPO as a carrier but you have to know how to do it and then it's simple.

It's really just a matter of locating the right "code" to enter when you manually set you account up to perform this task.

Below are instructions on how to do that.

To link your own account go to the 'Carriers' tab by selecting 'Settings' on the left toolbar of your Shippo dashboard, then select 'Carriers' Once you’re on the Carriers tab select the 'Add Carrier Account' button and choose Canada Post from the drop-down menu.

Then select 'Connect your Canada Post account' and walk through the registration process. When you add your account you’ll need your Canada Post API username and password - this article from our Help Center will walk you through locating that information: How to find your Canada Post API username and password

To create an Order, visit the Orders page and click on the Create Order button. Enter the address and package information, then select your rate.  """

Re: About Creating Return Shipping Labels

When I go to carriers on Shippo, I see USPS already on there so that is probably why you don’t see it on the ‘add carrier’ list.

I know that Femme has used Shippo to create a USPS label so it is possible to do.

Re: About Creating Return Shipping Labels

You're right.  I just "pretend" created a label from the US to me and was able to do it.

The instructions above were really initially about creating labels for non-venue items in general and I just thought it would work for return labels labels within Canada as well.
