If you are trying to purchase labels using CP that would be the problem. Until the strike has been resolved eBay has turned off shipping with CP. Only options would be UPS or Fedex.

Not an error page, when I tried on Friday, but the postal service labels were greyed out and unavailable.
The ShipShape page was still active however.

Prices there are slightly higher than on eBay.  But those labels are not going to move anything anyway.

If you need tracking, a label is important.

If you are comfortable without tracking there is still LetterPost domestically, even for goods.

For international shipping, parcel rate is required.

Courier prices seem to be much higher than postal. Two or three times higher.

If you are near a location, try chitchat or stallion.

There may be other services carrying shipments to the US for USPS handling.

I was able to print Canada Post labels on Saturday the 23rd from ShipShape.
I'd forgotten what a hassle it is. There is one normally unnecessary step, putting addresses into a list, which should be skippable for those of us who do mostly one-off shipments.

The pile in the outbox is smaller than I had feared though.
