Stallion Express sent a message yesterday around 3pm to say that they're taking packages to the border and Chit Chats is accepting China packages again. Stallion's message said they were waiting for confirmation from CBP and would follow up soon, but I didn't receive any follow up.
Before I relist my China stuff, are we good to do that? Is the China de minimis back on and shipments will clear? I rely on Stallion to tell me what I'm supposed to do in these sitautions but they haven't sent any followups to yesterday's message at 3pm where they mention "it's not confirmed, but we have heard from multiple reports".
The news claims the de minimis exemption is back on, but when that happened yesterday it did not show up in my news feed for a long time and there wasn't lots of detail in the article I saw. With DJT making new orders and recinding them on a whim every day, it's hard for me to keep up with what I'm supposed to do to adapt.
I would be nice if they put something in place to deal with the fallout before making decisions that are going to mess up everyone's business.

As far as the elimination and now possible reinstatement of the de minimis exemption.......
I haven't checked today (actually since 6:00am this morning).
I could only find two news releases that said it was back in place at least temporarily, one from USA Today and another one from a US based logistics company.
I just did a quick search, lots of matches but pretty much all of them are 4+ days ago and are about the initial removal of Section 321 for China.
This morning I could not find anything on the CPB or White House websites confirming this reinstatement of Section 321 for China.
I would be nice if they put something in place to deal with the fallout before making decisions that are going to mess up everyone's business.
If by "they" you mean the US Government (customs, White House), with Elon and Trump in charge, chaos is the objective, make everything as messy as possible, flip flop on a dime.....it's all part of the master plan to cause mass confusion, so much so that it makes it difficult for anyone to see what is actually going on.

We'll see on Monday - my local cross border service will be taking down quite a bit of Chinese goods. They seem pretty confident it'll clear.
I think I'm going to wait before putting my items back up, just in case they haven't reinstated de minimis... I was waiting for official confirmation from Stallion that all was OK, but they didn't send that out yet.

Yep, I meant "US Gov't" in terms of "they". It's like they don't think anything through, and it just causes lots of chaos. It's kind of like these whimsical changes make everyone jump around and do different things, and then get reversed a few days later. If they want to eliminate de minimis for China, that would be fine if they had something in place to keep shipments moving instead of causing all this border chaos.
Also when they make changes, they give little notice that they're coming and we don't know what it means until the day it happens. (Remember last Saturday's discussion where we spent all day trying to figure out if de minimis for Canada was toast). The changes this week have caused a week of chaos for my business and robbed me of valuable time I'll never get back (because it was wasted on all these policy changes that aren't sticking instead of doing something that actually mattered... I wasted many sleepless nights trying to figure out what I was going to do with these new policies and how it changed things for me, only for it to not matter a few days later).
To say I'm a little annoyed at Trump is kind of an understatement.

My store is still closed - I'm waiting as well to see what happens at CBP in my area (upstate NY).
I had one package clear customs (last night or early this morning), and it's enroute. So I feel OK doing shipping. I have 20 to go out right now, and only three are international (and won't transit the US). Ironically out of 20 packages, no Canadian sales this week.
I expect Stallion will probably be very busy on Monday with all the Chinese packages that were on hold last week until this was sorted out. I was going to ship on Friday but got the news that things had changed late in the day and decided just to leave my shipping until Monday.

I'm not sure if all of Stallion are confused or if it's just customer service not getting the memos who don't know what they are doing.
I have had back and forth with them, biggest problem is that they do reply but don't answer the questions I have posed.

I have issues with customer service too. They're wanting documentation from my supplier with proof of origin. We have a brick and mortar store (owned by my friend) and receive goods from customers that bring stuff in. What we've done to try and satisfy Stallion's request I've downloaded the list of items on eBay and filled in the country of origin, and the brick and mortar store is providing me with a letter to attest I got the eBay items from them.
