Update from Stallion, packages dropped off with them on Tuesday did not make it across the border today (Stallion truck is in gridlock). Packages dropped off today were not planned to be shipped over the border until Friday due to the US holiday.

If their truck gets over later today or tomorrow it can get back in time to take the Wed/Thur packages over on Friday.

Given the circumstances I doubt there will be more than a 1 or 2 day delay with the worst affected being things handed over to Stallion on Tuesday.

The link I posted is no longer working, seems like their site got overwhelmed!

Current status is that only the Rainbow Bridge is still closed, Lewiston and Fort Erie (Peace Bridge) which handle almost all the commercial traffic are operational.

I've heard nothing from ChitChats, I did get a notice from CrossBorder Pickups who also move packages southbound.

Disruptions for Canada Post should be similar 1 or possibly 2 days

We see a lot of mentions of chitchat and Stallion here, is CrossBorder Pickups a useful competitor for them?
Not that it does me any good on Vancouver Island.

Hello. I dropped off my packages to their Markham location on Tuesday at noon and all my USPS and Fed-Ex parcels actually (just) made it across the border before the flying Bentley incident.

Apparently the vehicle was a Bentley! Although you can buy a used Bentley for less than $50k a new one will set you back $300 - $400 THOUSAND CA Dollars.

My theory is that they actually won money at the US casino and then were P'd when told that there would be tax witholding on their winnings.

Add that to missing a Kiss show and I can understand the erratic behaviour.
