Auto relist.

I haven't used auto relist very many times.  When I do I find it relists my auctions later and later.  A few minutes would be acceptable but I noticed last night that many had not relisted over an hour later.  The 2 auctions that ended the earliest were the last to be relisted and it took just minutes under 2 hours for them to relist.

I took the rest of them off auto relist and relisted them manually myself.  I don't want them ending at 1:00 a.m.

Auto relist.

In which time zone? When it's midnight in Happy Valley, it's 7:30 in Chemainus.

Auto relist.

Selling Manager Automation tools for relisting are terrible.  From a few minutes to hours. The more listings you have, the longer time period they are scattered over. That has been my experience over the past 3-4 years.

Pierre Lebel tried auto relist about 2 years when the promos were first coming out and had a bad experience when using auto relist. I think he was trying 1 day auctions and auto relist on 2 or 300 hundred listings. They took hours for all to relist. Perhaps Pierre will post his experience.

A comment on using eBay scheduling (nothing to do with automation rules above.) I have always found that a scheduled listing always starts on time. I never understood why scheduled listings worked but not automation rules.

So to me Automation rules are basically useless if they cannot start within 5-10 minutes after a listing ends.

Auto relist.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

I "think" aiming for a certain finishing time is wasted effort. People bid and buy when they feel like it, not when you feel like it. My buyers alternate taking mid week and weekends off. I get lots of overnight buying.
