So, I just received a return request for 2 lots of jewelry. The buyer is saying it was not as described. All the things they have an issue with were outlined clearly in the listings. Of course they do not want to pay for the return shipping. Should I even bother trying to fight this or just bite the bullet & accept the returns & pay for the return shipping. I believe this is clearly buyer's remorse.

what i do (normally...)
- pay return shipping
- ask buyer for clarification on return reason
- refund, less any applicable deduction
- report user for violating policy if applicable
sometimes i get my head up my own butt and try to talk my way out of paying for the return, but not worth the hassle 99% of the time.

Update: Contacted buyer & I said I would accept the return but that the item condition was properly described. She admitted she only went by the pictures & did not read the details in the listing. She closed both returns. Said it was buyer's remorse. I thanked her.

It is amazing what can happen when one is polite and professional whilst responding to these situations (despite how one often actually feels), I too have had a number of "saves" as a result of doing this too......
