Cancelling A Paid Order Immediately- Buyer Still Has To Wait a Week for Refund

So not only is it annoying that sellers are stuck paying the PayPal fee when a buyer requests a cancelation for an item they paid for, it's also annoying they have to wait a week for their refund if your PayPal account happened to be empty at the time of the refund (because then PayPal has to source your bank account to cover the higher amount, which includes the fee).

Anyone know if you can have a neg fb removed if it's a complaint about the refund taking too long?

I'm also curious to know how this exact scenario would play out in managed payments... ???

I have no idea how it works in MP but I think that it’s a good idea to have a balance in PP for situations like that.  

 

Have you already started transferring the money from your bank to your PP account?  In the US PP will no longer access your bank account for a refund but I’m not sure if they still do that here. If you know someone else with a PP account who could send you money, that would be the  fastest way to get money into PP.

A co-worker of mine has come to my desk a few times and laid a 20 down and asked me to put it in his PP for him because of an urgent need.  It works well, and I've done the same to him the other way around.
