Anyone know how to discount your prices? Ive seen some listings where they show 30% off. The original price has a slash mark and the new price is below. Appreciate some knowledge on the subject.

Are you putting just one item on sale or a number of items?

If all the items you want to put on sale have a common word in the title, then just type that word into the search bar while in Markdown Manager. They should all show up. Then just click on the boxes (to the left) that relate to the items you wish to put on sale. Then fill in the start/stop time, the amount you wish to discount for the sale and I think, at the bottom of the page, is the enter button. I may have missed a step in there but, most is self-explanatory there. I think.

I looked into this recently. I think you need an eBay store (which costs $ every month) in order to put your items on sale unfortunately. I won't even list if there isn't a free listings promo on, so there's no way I'm going official and opening a store haha. I don't make enough money on here.

You can't put them on sale until they are actually relisted. You have to relist them, then put them on sale using Markdown Manager.

"I'd like to drop the price on multiple items which I am relisting. If that is at all possible "
Two ways to go about it.
1) as suggested by PJ, relist the items and used the Markdown Manager to discount the price for a specific period of time. This is possible since you have an eBay store (sellers without an eBay store for which they pay monthly fees do not have access to Markdown Manager)
2) Bulk relist and you can change the price of any or all items in the process. The lower price is then permanent.

Yes. You need a Store.
It is worth looking into the Store, even if you are listing fee averse, because you get a number of listings 'free' *, and still may qualify for Free Listing promos.
Actually, Store owners get some promos that others don't get.
The one thing about Stores is that you should have a fairly large number of items before you open one. About 50 was the number we old lags recommended a while back, but there have been many changes over the years. Still a useful thought.
*Really, this means that there is no further charge for those items after your Store rental fee. For me that takes my cost of listing down to about 5 cents.

This is an older post, or at least old enough that since posting I have closed my store. I didn't see any benefit. Sales showed no improvement. I would say It went down.
The one thing I found about losing my store is it just seems that my listing placements really took a hit. Maybe I'm wrong but I almost feel Ebay is punishing me for closing my store, but that's crazy , right!
