its very strange they pulled my discounts without letting me know.
all my boxes are getting remeasured at the fedex hubs before leaving to the us, and they are doubling some of the heights like for example if its 70 x 22 x 2 they are turning the 2 to a 4 or 5 all my boxes are designed to be made to 2 inch tall. s
which makes it cost about 3 times more to ship and I'm totally losing money. and the stuff I ship are 1/8" plastic panels its crazy they are remeasuring the boxes and putting 4 inches in height. which cost me and extra 100$
anyone here work for fedex and can give me advice and how come fedex is robbing me?
I'm going to just start paying at the counter and not use my fedex account to ship. I'm losing more then just my profits
this issue only started happening last month, the past 6 months have been fine.

How do those (incorrect ) rates compare with Canada Post?
Note that you would have to use the more accurate metric measures with CPO.

You can print Canada Post labels through Paypal at home. Some services have discounts from 5% to 17% off PO counter rates.
Then you just drop them in the closest PO box.
If you have enough you can also arrange pickup at your place of business or home. (There is a charge which I think is flat rate so picking up one costs the same as picking up 50.)

Good suggestion, except that the package sample the OP lists of 70" x 22" x 2" (178 x 56 x 6 cm) is just a little too big to send via Canada Post. The length is under 2metres, but length + girth (width x2 + depth x2) is over the 3 metre limit by 2 cm. Sample would have a volumetric weight of 12kg (for shipping to the USA).

It might just make it under the girth limit if the 70" or the 22" was rounded up to the next whole inch when measured and if measured in the more refined smaller metric cm it might drop a cm. If the 70" = 178 cm is actually 176 cm when measured in metric or the 22" = 56 cm is 55 cm when measured in metric, this would make up for the 2 cm in the girth.

FedEx had an introductory rate for new users only. Mine was only good for three months. About 30 per cent reductions on many common services.
Or, if you've been using them longer, you may have been re-evaluated to a new 'savings' platform based on your previous quarter's usage, similar to Canada Post's program. I'm not intimately familiar with the way FedEx sets their savings level stop reward their best customers the most.

Have you called and talked to Fedex to see what they have to say?
