So there are a ton of Disney Bootleg DVDs being sold from the state right now all Wholesale lots .. All from zuang or hang or zung or hung you get the picture ..
All from NEw sellers popping up like wildfire .. All changing Id's or description often maybe because I told them there Desctiptions looked like they were copied off of a Website I found once...
I called reported 15 sellers provided the website from which everything came from and gave them an overwhleming amount of evidence to proof they were bootlegs not to mention nobody sells Disney DVD's for $10 with roughly paying out 20% in fees LOL not happening ..
Anyways ebay DID NOTHING ... NOTHING ...NOTHING ... They did not even have to do the research I did it all for them and they are allowing these sellers to sell bootlegs .. I mean this could be affecting my business not much considering I only have Disney blu rays but 80% of the Disney movies I sell are at a lost they are just an attraction but still maybe I am losing these sales because of this ...
Maybe this should have went on the buyers forum so they could see how much ebay is really protecting them ...
I even wrote the website and they replied All Disney movies are bootlegs but our season are Authentic US releases ... O did I mention some of the sellers are seller either disney movies or t.v. Series nothign else ... ....
Anyways I spent 2 hrs researching and about 40 minutes on the phone with ebay trying to protect my business and the buyers on ebay .. Guess what ebay did to protect the buyers ... Wait for it wait for it NOTHING

If anyone would like to see how hard it would be for ebay to find these here is how she be done ...
Type in search engine Disney DVD
Click Wholesale lots
Price plus shipping highest
Check out the first 2 or 3 pages ...
how long did that take 5 minutes ... It's a shame that ebay did nothing

There's counterfeits everywhere, Ebay's policy is you buy the item at your expense, you have an accredited expert inspect the item at your expense, you ship the item along with proof it is fake to Ebay, at your expense, Ebay will refund your original purchase price, not shipping and remove the listing .............La dee da.
Ebay does need a fraud prevention team, Disney may demand some listings get removed but I think maybe your best bet would be to report the seller to custom's, they are supposed to catch counterfeit's too, maybe they would red flag the seller's name and inspect/ seize all parcels coming from them. ?
Your never going to stop it, all the effort likely won't significantly improve your business, but if it's a personal crusade go for it. Buyer's want a bargain, if they cared about authenticity the seller would be swamped with negative feedback and wouldn't be around long.

That really sucks brande. I think the only way ebay MIGHT react is if the complaint came from Disney.
Best of luck with your legit stuff.

eBay has a habit of ignoring complaints of fraud and even listing violations. Not worth taking the time to complain anymore.
There was a time complaints were actually investigated and action taken, but not anymore.
