My physical record of each sale is the email received from eBay.....
and if there are differences between his record and the record on the order page...... or the email from Paypal, a note is made on this email record.
The format for this email has not changed over the years.
This eBay email has ...
--- The title of the listing
--- The gallery photo
--- end time and date
--- sale price for the sold item
--- Buyer's Name
--- Buyer's shipping address... which is verified on the main order details page.
--- Shipping cost is added under the listing photo.... The shipping cost is based on the weight of the book sold.....

The email from Paypal contains the confirmed shipping address.... This is the correct shipping address, and sometimes is different than the address on the eBay email.
The shipping address is then confirmed on the eBay order detail page
Also included on this Paypal email are the title of the listing, the price of the sold item and the shipping cost

Everything, in relation to a record of the transaction, that is needed for shipping and as a record for tax purposes is in these two emails.
