FYI
Went to do my "check to make sure I typed in all the right tracking codes" today and I see they've totally redone the track a package screen, including some revamped (to my mind silly looking) logo!
Probably won't be any better at giving actual updates than before though.....
Just like here, nothing can stay the same it seems!

My main takeaway recently is that it is much faster to ship to Europe(tracked) than it is to somewhere in either Ontario or Quebec(Xpedited) from Calgary. Similar delivery results for other European countries post strike.
Recent shipment to Germany. Dropped off at postal Depot on the 25th. In German customs on the 27th.
Calgary to Brockville Ont Details attached. Calgary-Montreal-Mississauga-Ottawa-Brockville???

No surprise...
Expedited parcel -primarily ground transport (with some air possible)
versus
Tracked packet International -primarily air transport
Biggest delay for Europe is usually caused by customs clearance.

Probably part of the website revamp they started a few weeks ago...

There are still parts of the CPC website that need fixing or updating.
You can still find pages that claim that the "P" stamp is worth 85 cents or that tracked packet to the USA has a maximum weight of 1kg.
At least the minimum savings link on the shipping calculator has been fixed.

They prettied up the Find a Rate page too.
I had to go and look at it to notice any difference.
I'm beginning to think the reason for cosmetic changes is less junior programmers needing to show they are worth keeping on the payroll, than the junior staffers doing important but invisible work showing their technodolt bosses that something has changed and usuing the pretty to prove the useful.
I am old and cynical.

Yes, I've been wondering when they are going to correct this. I originally thought they were leaving it unchanged during the grace period, but enough time has gone by that this information is misleading.
