How long before you can resume selling after ebay stops you from selling?

The USPS over the summer has stolen approx 100 items, they are "lost in the mail" so they did not get to buyers.( Nothing ever!!! not delivered until summer started only in the USA mailed items so I think it was temp staff who grabbed small items).I refunded buyers instantly when notified item never arrived but buyers left terrible NEG feedback anyway.I shipped the items with in 5 mins of buyer payment so it was not fault at all of mine and I have had happy buyers for years (100%) feedback before this. Now eBay has removed my 1000s of items and sent me a message "you cannot sell on ebay any more".

Does eBay have a time limit when removing selling privileges?

The work required to re list 1000s of different items may deter me from selling on eBay again.......but is there a time limit?

Never mind the absolute ridiculousness of organized theft going after $3 CDs. There is a huge amount of high value stuff in the mail, but, they go after CDs, one at a time. Yeah, sure, I believe that.

Actually, at the local level, a minimum wage clerk newly hired as a summer student in a postal outlet, yeah, I could see succumbing to temptation and lifting a few untraceable CDs.

After all, napster...

But a well-paid with excellent benefits postal worker? Nobody is that dumb.

Been lots of CUPW employees charged with theft, plant workers and carriers.  Including having piles of mail of no value at home

Those of you who have had mail never go missing are the fortunate ones - mail does get "lost". I have had parcels lost both as a buyer and a seller. I don't know what happens to them - they have a return address on them but they never come back. The only one I got back was one that was so damaged only the "Fragile" sticker and part of my address was legible. Over the time I have been selling I have had half a dozen parcels go "missing" & I know I mailed them so either they got "lost" in the mail or the buyer just claimed they never got them. One will never know.

Theft also can and does happen - was not that many years ago that a postal worker was caught with a whole lot of parcels - if I recall they were not even opened. Can't just remember all the details.

It is strange however that so many would go missing. They do however return damaged items as I got mine back. Guess some things in life will forever remain a mystery - lost mail is one of them!
