I was browsing in eBay the other day when my search landed me on another seller's store that is so pornographic; we're talking full frontal nudity and stuff I am not comfortable mentioning here. Trust me I am no shrinking violet but oh my goodness. Strange thing is, there's no report button anywhere and of course, the worst part, now when I log in I have to look at this filth because it's in my search history. Yuk, like really, really yuk. Also while I was trying to tiptoe my way aroun t
Did eBay take away the report button or is this sleazy seller just good at manipulating the site? Suggestions please because I don't want to look at this **bleep** every time I log in and this stuff is not pretty.

Hi @Anonymous, sorry to hear what you've run across. You are still absolutely able (and encouraged) to report items in violation of policy by using the 'Report Item' link near the item description if on PC (screenshot attached) or at the bottom of the page if using the mobile app.
To @cumos55's point, there are certain genres or categories that allow nudity, but pornographic material should be behind the Adults Only verification wall.

This is troublesome-- although the OP doesn't mention if the offensive listing is in the 'adult' category, which does get pretty startling at times.

Each listing should have a report button along the right side of a listing's page.
In this situation send an email to Tyler.... He will forward the seller's ID and link to this seller's page and store.
There are certain situations where nudity is not considered unacceptable..... This is the art category, and books about art where the image is nudity.
Do a search under Help at the top left of this page.... and find out what is acceptable on eBay

I have sold a book about Nude Art in Canada. There was a full frontal nude on the front cover.
The image was edited with the image covered with a blank square from the neck to middle of the thighs.
My statement in the listings was that.... "this lady asked me to cover her so that she would not be totally exposed on eBay"..... My choice

If it is art.... then it may not be problem...
Do a search for .......
postcard nude
postcard nudity
art nude
book nude
art nude
nude woman
nude man
nude children
nude child
advertising nude.....
and that is what is currently on eBay... uncensored
Is it presented as art.... or otherwise.... Definitely something to think about
adult presented only as art......
children only in art and done very carefully... very carefully
Sometimes the definition is based on.... who ....is viewing the image
and then the magazines.... Playboy... Penthouse.... Playgirl
Many people do not know this is on eBay and ...not ... in that...... adult only category

If you want to make comparison....
Visit the .... Adult only ... category... under ... Everything else ... on eBay.com
Click on Categories at the upper right corner... on eBay.com and go to the end of the list ....to click on Everything Else.....

Everything was learned when I sold art books... about nude art..... They were no problem... But I had to be sure.
Many will be surprised with respect to what will sell on eBay.... including this seller of books.
With books it is most important to know what not to sell... and not get into trouble

To get a better understanding of what is and is not acceptable on eBay...
visit ... Adult Items Policy.... Find it under Help & Contact... at the upper left corner of this page.

Oh heck no if it had been in the adult section I wouldn't complain. Thank you for the screenshot, I did find the report button and reported it for not being behind the Adults Only wall, cuz...dang! You're right though, I didn't make it clear it was not in the adult section. My bad. Thank you for the help everyone.

I had some naughty French postcards circa 1890 at one point.
The model at first glance was totally nude-- at second glance she was wearing a collarbones to toes bodysuit!
I used the title "Post Card - full frontal modesty- French " or something like that.

I have a couple of postcards with ..... most likely Hawaiian women ... that are topless.... They were garage sale finds in a collection of postcards. Found two such postcards on eBay yesterday......
These postcards would have gone fully exposed.... through the mail.

I have had to deal with many situations where items were not allowed on eBay.
Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler.... found a copy that was not bought by me.... knew it was not allowed on eBay.... even though a new edition was recently published and sold in Germany.
The most strict country for Nazi based publications and memorabilia is not Germany... It is France
Found a book that dealt with Cuba..... Allowed in the US and Canada because it dealt with the Cuban railway system. However, books about the Cuban government and government propaganda are not allowed in the US....but allowed in Canada.
I found a stuffed Mallard duck at a garage sale, many years ago.... The duck could be sold on eBay because it was raised domestically on a farm and then stuffed..... Stuffed ... wild ... ducks cannot be sold on eBay.... Then my duck sold.... but could not be shipped to the US, because of a restriction... Buyer was in Vancouver!.
The only ivory that can be sold must be over 100 years old. Too many elephants shot illegally to get the new ivory. One must be careful where the word ivory is used on eBay, because that listing will be blocked. There is a collection of words that cannot be used on eBay, mainly because they have a ... double... meaning.
The reality of images of nudes sold on eBay is only one part of the big restriction list on eBay...One always has to be very careful......
