I'm confused on what automation rules means?

It states assign automation rules when I am listing or relisting.  What does that mean exactly?

You can set it up so that your listing automatically lists once if it doesn't sell or so that it keeps relisting until it sells. I think that if you have Selling Manager Pro there are other automated options available but I'm not familiar with them.
