Is eBay as a brand in trouble pt 2

I am asking real questions whether anyone wants to listen or not is up to you . I love eBay as a brand and it is the reason why I began a career in online retail .

My first and only post was pretty much about the same thing and you guys all seemed to disagree with me . https://community.ebay.ca/t5/Seller-Central/Is-eBay-as-a-brand-in-trouble/m-p/405674

My post was before earnings and like I said lets see what earnings brought and sure enough they brought more questions within eBay as a brand . To sum it up when ever they were asked a question during the conference call their response was eCommerce is a tough space we have projects planned . no more no less (no real answers) . We sell on eBay and some of us have investments in the company if they aren't going to have answers to investors they sure won't have it for sellers..

I go to ebay Canada now and see them doing something . Again I wish to ask were they are going as a brand .. After that earnings and guidance call why is their main push . How can any company be stuck to do such a thing .. Again I love ebay but I know if you sell on ebay you get punished for having a bad reputation .

To remind you I am not hating on eBay I just question how they can be doing what they are doing . I am trying not to step beyond boundaries to get this post removed but I hope you can understand. As a seller this is very disappointing after years of being told having a good reputation matters on the site.

It's not the same thing like I said but more of the same thing as being another rant .

If you're reading the responses to your posts as "disagreeing" with you, you're not reading them closely enough.

If you're truly interested in discussing this further, you would be adding to the original thread that you started. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but starting a new thread on the same subject comes off as grandstanding.

Please re-read the responses to your original post. While they may not seem to address your concerns about discounts, they are thoughtful responses about getting eyeballs and wallets to the platform nonetheless.
