I was wondering if there was a way to find out what your selling limit is without calling? How does EBAY set up a limit? What is it based on?
Thanks

How to find your limits:
You can see most of your account limits in My eBay. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages, sign in to your account, then select the All Selling option in the Sell section on the left side of the page (or in the Selling Manager Summary).
The Monthly selling limits section shows your current selling activity relative to your monthly limits. You see a red alert when you've reached a limit, letting you know you won't be able to sell more items in the current month. You always have the option to request higher selling limits.

Hi I must be blind but cannot find the Monthly selling limits section.
Your account is from 2002. Old accounts do not show Selling Limits. You have to call eBay Customer Support and ask what they are and ask that they add the selling limits section to My eBay and Selling Manager if you use that eBay tool.
Read about my experience with Selling Limits I posted earlier today in this topic. (post #4)
I called ebay Customer Support and there was a 45 minute wait. They offered a call back feature so I did not have to wait and charge my cell phone minutes needlessly.

I've never been able to see my selling limits. I wonder if they show up on some accounts once you get 'close' to your limits?

I believe that is correct, for older accounts (pre-2010-12) the limits won't appear until you hit them.
Most of the sellers I've heard with old account who pestered eBay to find out what they were found out that they were HUGE as in tens of thousands of listings and Millions of Dollars in value.
In addition, the limits that do show in My eBay are just the basic limits, there are also category specific limits which are never revealed.
The only reason one might try to find out is if you have a plan to increase your activities dramatically and/or start listing exceptionally high value items.

Yes, thanks I did. Nothing there. Here is my page summary.

Yes.
There is no mention of selling limits. As poco said, he did not see those limits either until he phoned in about them so it isn't unusual that others don't seem.

It means you have no limits. For (old) sellers with good performance no limits set. You can sell as much as you like

Thanks, although from what I've heard, all sellers have some sort of selling limit.
