Issues with a buyer who bids, does not pay, I block and he makes new userIDs to repeat over and over

Hi All, 1st time sending a message out but not sure how to handle a conman. This loser in Scarbourgh, Ontario keeps bidding and buying items from my listings, then does not pay and never sends a message. I keep blocking him but he creates new User ID's to do the same. Here's his information and user IDs so far I have collected from his games:

Evangelos Kanellakis:

1) evankanel-75

2) evankanel_0

3) vk27-46

4) vagelis-41

I have reported the guy to eBay about a month ago but he has used 2 more IDs since. Any idea what to do?

Set your buyer requirements to make sure that all bidders and buyers must provide a payment method in advance for bids or offers, and that any fixed price listings are immediate payment required.

I would reassure you that using Immediate Payment Required on Fixed Price listings does not bother those buyers, since they are right there buying.

And if they don't, the listing stays active until someone pays.

It does discourage bidding on auctions, but you want to lose this particular non-payer.

And with both auctions and Best Offers you have a chance to see the ID of the customer before the transaction is complete and can reject him.

Re: Issues with a buyer who bids, does not pay, I block and he makes new userIDs to repeat over and

This option was able on .com several months ago and since I went with it my non-paying bidders went from 40% to pretty well zippo.  The only one I had was someone who messaged me after the auction ended wanting to cancel, and "how do I stop this" as the payment automatically goes through an hour after the auction ends.   I cancelled then turned around and sold it for more.

My auctions are set at a price I am ok getting for items I think may have more upside.  Even with bidders that pay I like that I got rid of the multi-day wait to see if the high bidder was going to pay.
