Issues with invoices.

I am a new seller and am getting the most annoying run around from the pre-written ebay help guide about invoices.

Constantly asking me to click links that don't exist with no workaround.

There is no "Actions" drop down menu beside ANY of my sold items.

I go to site preferences, my combined shipping is turned on.

I go to my Sold area and there is absolutely NO way to combine orders into a single order, and there is NO drop down menus in sight that include "Send/View Invoice" or "Combine Orders".

Issues with invoices.

On the Seller Hub->Orders (top line second from left) Click to get page.

Beside the purchased item under the Ship By date you should see a blue dropdown menu that includes View Paypal, Mark as Shipped, Print Shipping Labels, etc.

Do those not appear for you?

When you go to Paypal do the multiple purchases all show up on one page?

If they don't, the buyer made separate purchases.

Phooey. You paid 30 cents for each of those payments, instead of one 30 cent fee for them combined.

When that happens I print off all the invoices (I'm a paper person)  and just pack all the items in the same package.

If there is a big difference in the amount of shipping the customer paid and the actual cost (including taxes, fuel surcharges, and packaging materials) I choose one of the PP invoices and click on Refund to return some of the total shipping cost . (Don't forget you were charged an extra 30 cents for each separate purchase by the buyer.)

Your customer willingly paid an uncombined postage price.

You graciously gave a small refund from the goodness of your heart.

You win. innocent

I don't know if I'm using the sellers hub or not, but I do see the dropdown menu beside individual orders, the problem arises when I try to select two separate orders and try to combine them into one, as I can't interact with the dropdown menu of either orders when they're selected in this manner.

I ended up refunding the shipping cost through Paypal because I run a multi-order special where if you purchase more than one item shipping is free and I was trying to ensure that someone that had made two purchases a few days apart before shipment was going to be benefiting from this promo as I am a newer seller so things are changing frequently so I didn't want to seem like I was pulling a fast one.

If the invoices are paid, they can’t be combined after payment. Also, if the buyer was logged into eBay.ca for one purchase and eBay.com for another, they cannot be combined into one pre-payment. There’s also probably a time-limit involved, and if part of an order is cancelled prior to payment, that will also negate the possibility of combining into one.

If one is an Auction format and the other Buy it Now? I can’t recall if those both fit on the same invoice either.

Usually combing items into one invoice is straight-forward but there are moments in which it just will not work and I’ve given you a fe examples of those but there are others.

Also, you don’t select both orders if there are two orders unpaid to be combined into one invoice. You use the dropdown of one item to Send Invoice and eBay automatically finds the other eligible item(s) associated with that user to combine.
