Listing ended because of Government items policy

I had a listing for a smart watch that was ended by eBay because of:

"We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our Government items policy. Government, transit or shipping company property is not allowed."

https://www.ebay.ca/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/government-items-policy?id=4318

I had contacted customer service and they said:

"it is not a government item however it is reported by governement body. Therefore we need to abide the rules and regulatios. Beside relisting that item might cause harm to your account such as being restricted or worst suspended."

When I asked for details of the rule I broke, they said:

"It would have been my pleasure if I could share the exact details and specifics on which we recognized the breach. However, you may understand that by revealing our source and discussing our methods of identifying bad buying experience on the site, we can increase a chance of members circumventing our policies. That is the reason we are unable to share the exact details of the removal. We seek your co-operation in this regard."

Thankfully, customer service said this is a warning and has no infraction on my account. This is the equivalent of a cop stopping you on the street and warning you, but not saying why.

You're saying that the watch didn't have any sort of government, transit or shipping company name associated with it?  What was the title of the listing?

The listing title was "Mi Band 5 (Global Version) - Ships from Canadian warehouses. 60 days warranty". There were no mention of any government, shipping company, or political references.

Hmmm I wonder if the bots put together the Mi and the  5 and thought it had something to do with MI5 in the UK.
