Hello,
So I completed my registration for MP on May 7th and received an email from eBay stating it was completed. Since then I have received no information about my registration, is it OK? or if there are any problems etc. Does anyone know when eBay will be contacting sellers with information and cut-over dates?

Go to Overview in Stub Hub....
Go to the Payments section and you should see the following....
You’ve successfully registered for managed payments. Thanks for getting your business ready early.
Then click on .... Get Prepared..... and find many links to information about Managed Payments
There is a lot to read..... many interesting things to learn about Managed Payments

ebay won't be starting the switchover until after the middle of July.

So, why is eBay using "co·er·cion" to force Sellers to "sign-up" BEFORE giving/providing them ALL the information about MP's, so that they can decide beforehand as to if they are going to give eBay more "personal" information in order to get the "details" then decide to leave...
I guess the same reason certain individuals always push MP in the community boards.

It was my choice to register for Managed Payments.... no hesitation....
I was on eBay when Paypal became a reality...... and have used Paypal for many years....
There have been many changes after I started selling on eBay in January 2003..
Changes have always been a reality... and many times I found that I was already selling on eBay with the changes already functioning as a part of eBay.. even before the changes became a new reality.
Managed Payments will be there for me as of July 2020..
I will be selling on eBay for a few more years and will most likely retire in May 2023.
It is each seller's choice whether they choose to register for Managed Payments or not.

Each of us should look at who has our personal information on the internet... All of this information is protected... Each location is different.... and all locations are already linked
1) eBay
2)Paypal
3) A personal bank account
4) A business bank account ... if necessary
5) Canada Revenue Agency..
The one thing that links everything is a personal name.... the same name on each of 1 to 5
Hackers are getting better with each passing year.... each passing minute.... information protection must get better... and better... and better...
This is our reality on the internet.

It was my choice to register for Managed Payments.... and learn about the New reality.....
The same should apply for everyone that is given the option to register... or not to register for Managed Payments.
