Just spotted this on the eBay dot com discussion board. Hopefully this go back in thinking will help out both buyers and sellers going forward. These announcements don't always filter their way to dot ca.
All I can say, fingers crossed!!!

How does this information again the sellers here? Afaik Canadian sellers shipping options were not being hidden on .ca or .com.

According to the announcement... they were. In the past it was very easy to see if sellers were giving multiple shipping options. Now. Not so much. Basically needle in a haystack. eBay has been slowly dropping features sellers relied on for years. It's reported on dot com regularly. Or the alternative....Fixing stuff that wasn't broken. As a buyer I want choices. Same goes as a seller. In most situations when a feature that has been around forever and suddenly(automagically disappears - My favourite ebay word) it usually is discovered by accident. Check the dot com announcement board and compare.
Also important to remember that features/technical glitches in ebay affect sellers to different levels. What may not affect you may affect someone else dramatically. Good example: Small Packet US/Intl air shortfall for Canadian sellers.

it doesn't, but we can hope that maybe one day we will get to use calculated shipping options for UPS FedEx etc. etc. in our listings.. If we cross enough body parts and wait long enough.
