My feedback just went from 3 to 2 with no explanation.

I've only had 3 customers so far bother to leave feedback out of 5 and now I see that my feedback has gone from 3 to 2.  Has anyone had this happen?  I tried to contact Ebay but of course there is no way to contact Ebay that I can see. The nearest I can find as an explanation is the Help bot that says:

"We only remove feedback in specific circumstances, like if a buyer didn't pay, used abusive language, or didn't follow our policies. We may also remove a buyer's feedback if we closed an eBay Money Back Guarantee case and found that you fulfilled your responsibilities to the buyer."

This buyer had no history and is now not a registered user. They left me postitive feedback and I reciprocated.  I assume it was an eBay Money Back Guarantee case.

Has anyone had this happen?

This buyer had no history and is now not a registered user.  (NARU)

Buyers go NARU for many reasons but usually because eBay ended their account for extreme transgressions.

Members who close their own accounts usually find it takes three to six months before it really closes, since eBay wants to make sure there will be no financial problems popping up afterwards.

Because you are selling relatively high value items, there may be a chargeback in your future from that sale. Please come back here if you need any advice.

I know it is frustrating building FB when you are first selling. Leaving FB yourself on shipment is one help.

Best wishes for your new business.

When a user is removed by eBay they often remove recent feedback the user has given.

2 feedback on 5 sales is actually very good.   To build feedback I suggest buying some cheap $1 to $2 items from big overseas sellers.  Qtips, elastics, whatever.  They usually have automated feedback so it gets added when you purchase.
