No more US dollar listings on eBay Canada.

No GTC  listings in US dollars can be listed on eBay Canada......starting today

If there is a GTC listing in US dollars on eBay Canada, as of today....  It will be ended when its 30 day listing period ends...

He said that he's seeing everything in straight-up boldface with CAD converted, if I'm not mistaken.

When did they add the rest of that jazz to the View box? The last time I looked, there were two choices: list and gallery views and that's it.

There is an announcement today which explains how the noncompliant GTCs will end.

EBay is still not saying if the noncompliant GTCs will 'end' and go to the Unsold List for rejigging or be DELETED, never to be seen again.

GTC Listings will not be deleted.

I asked Raphael this specific question at the last Weekly Chat session.

The expired GTC'S will go to the "unsold" list.

All I have to say it my store is ruined. Half of the ad's wont convert. This is a disaster for me.

The easiest would of been no "NEW" usd listings. Let all the GTC ones run out. What a cluster

Next step is to start my own website and steer as many people as I can there(i know it will be tough). At least I will save several thousands a month in FVF fee's 

Listing on ebay.com my local customer cant select local pickup as well. Their is so many issues with this I cant even keep track and dont even know where to start with several thousand listings.

I also paid thousands of dollars a month in fees to eBay in the "good old days" (prior to my retirement).  That amount of fees suggests well over $15,000/$20,000 in monthly sales.

Realistically with so much at stake, one should take the time to decide on a policy regarding currency and shipping/pickup and implement the policy.  Yes it does take time - eBay announced the change several months ago - but it will take you the same time (or more) doing it on your website with fewer sales (at least at the beginning).

As far as pick-up is concerned, that should not be a problem if you eBay listings clearly indicate - in the description - that pick up is available for buyers wishing to save on shipping.  It is simply a matter of sending invoices in those instances without the shipping charge so eBay does not charge you FVF on shipping.  Not a big deal if pick up is important and relevant to you and your buyers.

Last date that GTC listing on eBay.ca renewed in US$ was August 2.

GTC listings are up for renewal every 30 days.

August has 31 days.

September 1 will be the last day for US$ on eBay.ca (Eastern Time zone).

Not to nitpick but GTC Listings will continue to renew until 11:59pm on Aug.3/16 (today).

My GTC listings have not ended....

Aug.4/16 would be the first day, making Sept.2/16 at 11:59 pm, 30 days and the last day.

Of course this response is out of pure boredom... lol!

Item 262083821672 ends on sept 2 so it looks as if it was relisted today. It is in $US on .ca.

According to the announcement though that shouldn't be happening.

Yes, 4-5 listings that were suppose to "end" today have been renewed.

I have one more GTC listing that's ending in the next 2-3 hours that should renew...

Any GTC listings that end after midnight will not be renewed.

I watched the count down.....looked for the listing and it was still listed.

If  the listing was on eBay Canada...   then what?

Wait and see what happens with the next listing that will end.....

Actually, the Jayne Mansfield listing was created on eBay.com (my mistake) but the (3) GTC listings after that one renewed and they were created on eBay.ca.
