"This just means no "eBay" branding on any of the parcels I'll be sending."
More secure without branding in a way...

Do I qualify, or not? I have a store on Ebay.com, not on Ebay.ca...
Is it "Canadian" Store subscribers or "Canadian Store" subscribers 😀
This all seems to be part of the current new normal. Discontinue offers in the middle contracts. This has been in the news a few times lately connected to cellular and cable providers. Upping the charge in the middle for equipment and removing services at the same time. This was covered on marketplace late last year with customers pushing for credits for these charges. Only received if they knew how to yell properly. Not across the board credits.

If your store subscription still has months left you should still get any quarterly coupons that would qualify. I thought this was Canadian law? Correct me if I am wrong here but if you close your store early there are penalities? Isn't this the same in reverse?
Followup: This may be the applicable loophole from TOS:

C'mon, take it easy! It was meant to be a joke 😀
Of course, we are not happy - the Ebay bubble mailers were of a good quality and cheap (with the coupon).
But it's not the end of the world, though...

Sure, I will still get my coupons in April and July (my store renews in September).

and the sooner the plug gets pulled on it the better!... then perhaps, listing only on .COM for Canadian sellers will allow us to get back to being able to utilize the full extent of .COM amenities like we did all those many years ago !

@brettjet38 I suspect if we got the message it was because we just lost our supplies.
Over the weekend I reorganized my supplies closet, and I'm fine for about a year. And I have kept on my Watch list the company that I used to buy from so no problem there.
However as the literary luminary Sir Terence Pratchett wrote:

If you have a Store that was opened on .com you should still get the coupons.
I'll make a guess why eBay ended the coupon for Canadian Stores........
Basic Store on .ca - C$24.95 or C$19.95 (US$17.30 / US$13.83)
Basic Store on .com US$27.95 or US$21.95 (CA$40.32 / CA$31.66)
For a Premium store it's not quite so bad (good) as the subscriptions rates are the same in both countries BUT the US price is in US Dollars so it's "only" about 42% higher than a .ca Premium store.
The only suprise I have is that eBay never increased the .ca rates or discontinued the coupon for .ca stores a long time ago.

Maybe they'll revamp the shipping supplies store and lower prices but make it paid shipping. That would be useful and possibly make it feasible to buy the supplies if we could order larger quantities without the shipping costs being baked into each one individually.
Some of the sizes they offer are really useful and hard to get elsewhere (unless you live near a uline). 15x10x6 is particularly nice.

The only possible positive for the cuts would be if they are because eBay is going to lower or remove fees, like they did in Europe. Or, they could be replacing the shipping program. The previous shipping supply program was incredibly inefficient. They would be better off partnering with Staples or Uline and negotiating some sort of discount. Even something like a quarterly free shipping coupon for Uline would likely result in greater savings than the previous supply coupon.
With that said, I would rather be charged fees but get value from those fees that exceeds what I pay. For example, marketing features like coupons. Or promo codes pushed out to buyers.
There was a promo code for a category I sell in that was pushed out this week, and it resulted in multiple very expensive items that have been listed for months selling. $2000+ revenue in one day due to a promo code. Yes, with no fees I could lower my price - but I think with customers promo codes tend to create more urgency.
Odds are, this being removed points to them cutting back because of how little profit there is on eBay Canada, but I guess I have to be a bit of an optimist.

My store is listed on .com. I no longer qualify for the coupons. If you are using a Canadian SIN, a Canadian business registration or a registered to pay Canadian taxes (RT000#), you are no longer eligible for shipping supplies coupons.

In checking with a US registered store seller this morning, they still have access to the coupon....currently. Will that change down the road. Guess that will be wait and see.
For Canadians:
What this means for you |
No other changes are being made to the Store subscription benefits. As a Store subscriber, you will continue to receive the same tools and support to grow your business.
Interesting to note that US sellers have been able to offer buyers coupons since 2021. There are other discrepancies. Personally not grasping the part about "same"!! |

I paid for an annual Basic store for the perks, such as the lower FVF and the coupon, and running sales. I don't use all my 1,000 listings, and some months, I don't clear $2k in sales to justify the lower FVF. If I broke even on FVF, but had the option to run sales and get the discounted shipping supplies, I considered it ok.
But, the difference in FVF between Basic store and no store is around 0.9%, and only on some categories. Meaning you need to clear at least $2k in sales per month, just to break even (the store is $20 billed monthly if you agree to the annual subscription).
I wonder if sellers are going to downgrade or stop their stores all together. I will have to look at it. I would also hope that if eBay eliminates this perk, it will pivot to other perks and methods to grow the site and bring more sales. At the end of the day, the more we sell, the more eBay makes too.

I'm on the dot com site as well, and I get my coupon on the US site. However it's not worth it when they add the import fees and all that...

Interesting! It seems I don't qualify, even if I pay the US store subscription ....
OK, somehow I'm a US seller. I've been able to use my coupon, and I get stuff shipped to my friend's PO box in New York to deal with the fact they want to charge me $25-30 in import fees on a box of bubble mailers.

Was this recent? I ordered supplies in the first week of January (I've got a store on dot com, but I'm located in Canada with a Canadian SIN, and RT#).

The change happened today. If you signed up for the yearly subscription, you will continue to be able to redeem for supplies until the end of your current year (until it renews). It is based on your registration, tax ID or SIN not the physical location of your business (for those sellers who use Stallion or Chit Chats)
I'm not on a yearly subscription, but I didn't receive the memo... I've been getting my supplies from the US shipping supplies site and getting the US coupon. The only problem is they charge import duties to mail to Canada (or send them to the PO Box in NY).

I never ever sold any item on .ca. Since 25 years, I sell exclusively on .com, and have my store registered there. I get a box of my bubble mailers from a warehouse in Toronto, and was never charged any additional fee. I think you mistakenly tried to order from the US Ebay supply store, not the Canadian ones.
This is the right store you should order from:
