Offers and flat shipping rule

Just wondering if anyone knows, if i send 2 offers to a same buyer, or receive 2 offers from a same buyer from best offers, and the listings have a flat shipping rule... Does the rule apply too or shipping isnt discounted?

I can't tell you from experience but in theory, if they pay together, the combined shipping rules should work.

If the rules are set up correct it will apply if they pay in a single transaction

If you accept 2 offers that the buyer sent (you can combine the invoice right away)

If you send out offers and the buyer accepts the offers, thats where it can go either way. Some customers accept offer and immediatley pay not knowing they can accept multiple offers and pay in for all in a single transaction (happens 50-75% of the time for me)

Shipping is not a part of the Best Offer process.

I agree that accepted Best Offers should still allow your combined shipping policy to work.

Assume your customer will mess it up and be ready to offer a refund of his overpayment. Note that the refund does not have to match exactly the difference between what he should have paid and what he did pay.

He wasn't expecting any refund so he should be pleased at the unexpected bonus.
