Do you think it is better to have one day auctions... or how long should you run them for? I just did a whole bunch of one day auctions as I thought I might get better placement but there is two hours left and still no sales.

7 days .... Gives you exposure time without costing extra like f you used 10 day auctions....

99% of your listing exposure will come when it  still has a low value on it and or  in the last hrs of the auction ...

7 days gives it more time to be found and to create a possible but unlikely bid war ...

Auctions are not good unless you sell rare hard to find in high demand items

In some cases, it can take upwards of 12 hours for a listing to 'index' and be seen.

This is most likely to happen to new sellers, sellers in high fraud/ high value categories and sellers with violations. As a new /occasiona; seller, you may be getting only half of what you pay for with a 24 hour auction.

Seven days is better.
