Effective immediately, parcel and packet services transported by air to Australia and New Zealand are suspended until further notice. Border closures to combat the Covid-19 pandemic have severely restricted flight capacity to Australia and New Zealand. As a result, the following services are suspended:
XpresspostTM–International
Tracked PacketTM–International
Small Packet–International Air.
Canada Post will continue to accept and deliver to these destinations using the following surface services. Surface delivery may take up to twelve (12) weeks:
International Parcel–Surface
Small Packet–International Surface
In addition, Canada Post will continue to deliver documents sent via Letter-post and Registered Letter-post, but senders should expect delays. Priority™ Worldwide, delivered by FedEx also remains available. Please know our people are working hard to maintain service and keep the mail moving. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

I suspect I'm going to get some "stuff back" I think I sent some airmail small packets out last week....unless they just default them to surface instead.

I've had a query about a sewing pattern sent to Oz by letterpost, but so far the customer seems to be satisfied by my explanation.

Yep:
"In addition, Canada Post will continue to deliver documents sent via Letter-post and Registered Letter-post, but senders should expect delays."
You can still send packages but only surface unless you want to use Priority (ie Fedex).
