Partial refund without buyer opening a case?

Does anyone know if I can do a partial refund to a buyer without them opening a case? I am in MP. Yes, I know it's better to say return for refund but sometimes there are extenuating circumstances.

Yep it is no problems, no different than if you were refunding because of overpaid shipping.

You just have to click on "send refund".

There's lots of reasons for the refund to pick from, there's a generic one called "other adjustment" you can use that if nothing else applies.

sellers hub/all orders  -  Click the arrow next to the transaction and click on send refund. Fill in the amount and then you must click on the arrow on the line above the box and choose a reason for the refund. Otherwise, the review refund box will be unclickable.

After clicking anything, take a deep breath and count to ten.

Just give yourself enough time to be sure what you are choosing to do is what you want to do.

After you click on Send Refund do you then get a chance to input the amount? Scary! Shouldn’t it ask the amount before hitting Send Refund?

Yeah, I wasn't sure what would happen when I pressed the Refund button in MP for the first time last week, either! Fortunately I was able to enter a partial refund amount. Seemed to go okay. Refunds are fast in MP because they always seem to be holding back my money!
