Purchasing additional insurance on Expedited USA on Shippo

If this post appears twice I apologize. Thought I had posted it but could not find it so will try again.

I am shipping a parcel to US via expedited US & $100 is automatically included but I want to increase it as the item sold for $395. When filling in the label request info on the Shippo site I ticked the add insurance box & filled in the amount of $395 & saved. It showed a label for $25.80. When I printed it the total transaction amount on my copy says $21.85 & no breakdown or mention of additional insurance. How do you know you have the additional coverage? Has anyone out there done this since Shippo changed their site? Would like to know that I have the extra coverage before I drop it at the PO.

I believe eBay members (or at least Solutions for Small Business members) get a discount on postage through Shippo.

Could that be a factor?

I added Shippo insurance for $1 extra to ship an item via Airmail to a far-flung country that CP deemed to be unusable for Tracked Packet... only after the buyer had paid (I refunded the overpayment after downgrading the shipping method). I highly suspect the item may never arrive, so that extra $1 spent may come in handy.
