[Question] Shipping SOOO expensive

Hey guys well I have a quick question. I'm just wondering does anyone know of any cheap shipping places in Winnipeg Manitoba?  besides Canada Post?.

This morning I went to canada post to get a quote to see how much they charge to ship an IPHONE 4S charger and USB Cable and they wanted like  $12.99 from Canada to Canada.. and $7.99 to ship to the states.

There is no way of competing with USA sellers with this rate? 

does anyone happen to know where else I can use??

Looking at your listings I don't see why you don't just simply send stuff Lettermail / Light Packet USA / International

They're all small enough to fit

I understand you might want tracking but 1 in 100 gets lost / goes missing

So, just cut that into your price and $1.34 for lettermail $2.78 for Light Packet USA

We only have 2 cheap shipping options that allows us to compete with American Postal services so if you can try to utilize it.

SOo i'm trying it out playing around with the weights and stuff

Do you happen to know the different price rates? 

like I changed the weight and dimensions a few times and still keeps saying $10 something

like when does it jump to the next weight?? 

I'm sending things that the weight varies from 60g - 300g and still only $10 to send??

Send it lettermail just with a $1.34 stamp for a simple oversized letter

I was looking into Iphone chargers, 

it doesn't fit through the 2cm slot so Lettermail isn't an option

This is what I love about living where I am .. I may have some crazy delays which I guess is because I live in the middle of no where but the owner of the corner store/liqour store/post office let's me ship anything 1 inch or less lettermail and nothing has EVER come back and were talking 100's of parcels that were bigger then 2cm .. I love it ...Then again I did spend over $12,000 in shipping there last year so I am a pretty good customer.. LOL

When I started I lived in another town and they were crazy about the 2 cm think like if they had to pull it trhough and it made it but didn't just slide through they would not let me ship it...

Same with weights .. Anything within 5 grams I ship the lower amount and only didn't work well 1 time out of 100's ... If it weighed 105 I shipped it 50-100 pricing ...

Then again I remember reading on here one time someone forgot to even put stamps on parcels and Canada post still delivered them even though buddy didn't pay for shipping so I guess if you can find a good front man then you can get lucky LOL

I sell both and they go through the mail just fine...

I can tell you that a Winnipeg to BC envelope I mailed

I forgot to put a stamp on a package

Took 1 month to get to me lol

Then, I had to put a stamp and return to them to wait another week to get it

I proceeded to apologize to the customer about my mistake (He was a returning customer so I was in luck)

Winnipeg is geographically the center of Canada so I'd say were at a bonus for shipping times

Always, the fastest or very close to it Canada wide

I was trying to remember where I saw that sign. I "think" it is much further west around the ND Montana border.

but the plugin to the wall doesn't fit through 2cm.. the plug itself is 3cm.
