Question about Expedited label and SnapShip

I think I’m having a senior moment, just can’t remember, long time since I had to ship a parcel with tracking. If I print off a label for expedited parcel tomorrow using SnapShip, can I wait until Monday to take my parcel to the post office, then add the tracking number to eBay on Tuesday. I have 2 day handling time just now so don’t have to ship until Tuesday.

What you are describing would be perfectly fine.

Although, if you are dropping off the parcel on Monday I don't see any reason not to also mark the transaction as "Shipped" on Monday?

If parcel is created outside of eBay or is an untracked service I update with UR or letter being the service in the tracking field as soon as it is packed. Letter I include date (drop[ped off).  Never had a problem doing it that way.

There is nothing stating that you have to add the tracking to the transaction page when you first print the label. You can add the tracking whenever you want before your handling cutoff expires. If you do not add the tracking before the cutoff, you will get dinged with a defect.

With that said, I don't think there is much benefit in waiting to add the tracking. Expedited is usually reasonably fast, so I wouldn't be too concerned about fulfilling the order a day early when it won't move.
