Re-instating a country that was blocked.

I had blocked the UK for a while because mailing was so slow, but I want to put it back.

I have gone to my list of blocked countries, and removed the UK, and clicked on the box for it to apply to all present listings, but it is now working. Any ideas?

I know you are selling on a much larger scale than me (I saw your comment 850 listings way-to-go!) but when I was selling internationally I had it set "buyers contact for cost", this way they could bid (or use Buy it Now) but couldn't actually make a payment until I sent them an invoice. I don't know if this option would help you or not. I've always had two shipping policies (depending on value and/or weight), one was Canada and US only, the other International (but as mentioned contact for costs). Right now I'm doing my Canada and US only but have made exceptions for some. These are tricky times! I hope you find the easiest/most painless way!

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but I also had blocked most international shipping over the last couple of months because of so many problems since the VAT taxes. Whenever my "regular" customers are interested in any of my items I will change those listings (one at a time so it doesn't change everything) and there are two cases when it doesn't work, one is when there is less than 24 hours left on the listing and secondly if there are already any bids, otherwise it works right away. My listings are auctions (not sure if yours are BIN) but just in case this helps I have encountered this for those reasons.

I usually only have 25 - 30 listings at a time so worse case I have gone in and changed each one on the listing itself....you may have 100s or more so that would be a royal pain.

Yes, I have 850! I am sure it should be possible to do this on store management, but it just doesn't work.

I don't think that the UK is blocked now but you have to add shipping t there on some of your listings.  Some of them show shipping to the UK and a cost but some of them don't have a shipping cost there and/or the listing shows just shipping to the US and Canada.   So it's not blocked but its not set up to ship there on all of your listings.

From a buyers perspective the only difference they would would see when viewing your store is either a shipping amount or Shipping not specified. (Please contact to confirm.)

From your sellers hub page you should be able to sort to confirm which listings have that notation. (Shipping column).  How it works with calculated/flat rate shipping. Then the only way would be to manually update if bulk edit is not working for you. Unfortunately frustratingly labour intensive.

I only have International shipping rate for letter mail, never for packages. Sometimes the option comes up "ship to US and the following", but sometimes that isn't there. I just sold to a buyer in the UK who said that when she tried to purchase a book, she couldn't because it said I don't ship to the UK so I just changed it for her, but I can't do that to all my listings, hopefully any potential buyers will do the same.

I always put in a flat shipping rate if I sell Internationally, but that is only Australia at the moment. I thought I would just be able to add UK, but that isn't working.
