Reserve Amounts

Hi,

I wasn't sure which category to use for this.

Can I totally delete a reserve amount after bidding has started and there are still 7 days left? If so, how? I tried to delete it earlier today, but I kept getting an error message that I had to enter an amount greater than the highest bid.

If this is not possible, I guess I lowering the reserve amount at this point is the way to go.

Thanks

Reserve Amounts

Once there are bids, you can't make any changes.  If the reserve isn't met, the auction will end with no sale.  Going forward, I suggest next time,  you start the auction with what you want for the item,  the buyers will then bid what they are willing to pay.  If there are several bidders, it gets exciting in the end.

Once you have bids deleting a reserve on an auction is not possible.

You can lower the reserve to an amount that is $1 higher than the current bid.

You are wasting money using a reserve. Reserves are VERY unpopular with buyers and the (non-refundable) fee is outrageous.

Many buyers will ignore any listing with a reserve.

Just start the Auction at the price you can live with and ditch the reserve.
