Seller protection????

The reason I stopped selling on ebay after being a top rated seller for 7 yrs was because of NO SELLER PROTECTION. I was given bad info, time and time again. This dragged a problem on for months. The buyer could DO NO WRONG even when she did. It was so disgustingly one sided, that I could not stomach selling one more item on ebay. Because the buyer was a big spender, they took her side, even after telling me many many times that I was in the right. Causing me to have to refund all the monies involved, even the shipping I'd paid, and in the end I didn't even get my items back. The amount of hours spent on the phone and emails was huge and all for nothing. I had no back up, nothing. So excuse me if I'm just a bit leery of your new promises.

Seller protection????

This concept of "Buyers Remorse" being a valid reason for any return is just wrong. You make a purchase after reading a listing you've accepted responsibility for that purchase just like the seller has made a commitment to sell something to you. End of story. I had a customer recently, cancel an order right after payment, just after I finished processing the postage.  They changed their mind for some unknown reason. eBay called it a return. Even tho it hadn't had time to get to the post office.  Had to wait 3 weeks for a credit on the postage and was required to refund the customer. Still shaking my head!!! That's the rattle you're hearing!!!

Is this about an email you got today from eBay regarding the Spring Seller Update? Maybe raise your concerns on that thread instead.
