Sellers Q & A on .ca listings - incorrect info

Hi tyler@ebay

Someone noticed this earlier today.  When a buyer clicks on contact seller on a listing and the seller has enabled their Q & A section, one of the ebay generated questions comes up incorrectly.  Under the shipping section is the question 'Does this seller ship internationally'? If the listing originated on .ca, the answer always comes up as 'no, this seller does not ship internationally'.  This is true even when the seller has  international shipping enabled.  However, if the listing originated on .com the answer will be accurate and will show that the seller ships internationally if they have their listing set up that way.

I have listings on both .com and .ca and when I look at the Q&A area on a listing done on .com, it shows that I do ship internationally but on my .ca listings it says that I do not.  I checked quite a few other Canadian sellers and got the same results.  Just in case you need I'll do a screen shot of my listings later tonight.

btw I could not originally access the Manage your  Q&A for buyers page on .ca as the Manage Communication with Buyers link has not worked for quite a while. Will that be fixed soon?

But I could access Manage Q & A page on .com and it still does exist on .ca. When I just changed.com in the url to .ca, the page came up.

Hi @pjcdn2005 - still trying to find the 'owner' for this and get their perspective. When I hear back I'll let you know!

Hi @pjcdn2005 - the Shipping team is looking into this (I got confirmation just now)!

It sounds like they're still digging into root cause at the moment. If I hear any further updates I'll add to this thread.

@pjcdn2005 - our ticket was closed as 'not reproducible' (even with the screenshots and item numbers I provided 😬)

Are you still seeing this?
