Selling on 2 different sites.....

I am planning on selling some vintage items on eBay, have sold things in the past.  My question is; am I allowed to list and try to sell the same items on Marketplace as well? Whichever listing sells first, I delete from the other site?  Ebay allows this?

Or, should I list seperate items on each selling site?

Thank you in advance.

The only thing you have to be cautious of is selling it elsewhere and NOT deleting it here first, or before someone buys it here.

Out of stocks here are bad defects, one cannot accumulate many of them.

For safety sake if you're selling on marketplace and you have a "taker" but not money in hand yet, axe it here anyway, then if the marketplace sale falls through you can just relist it here easily. (at least that is what I would do)

Totally your choice. eBay does not dictate what you list on other selling sites. It is the seller's responsibilty to be diligent in monitoring their listings to AVOID any possibility of items selling on both sites before deleted from another site(rare but can and does happen).

Most active sellers do crosspost, but as others have warned, it is very very important to keep an eye on your inventory and delete off-eBay sales promptly.

Before you start listing be sure you have your Managed Payments account registered, so that eBay can transfer your payments to your chequing account.

And be aware that returning and occasional sellers are subject to the same 30 day Hold on customer payments as newbies. But you are still shipping once the customer is paid, not when the Hold is lifted.
