My sales in the past six weeks have been slower than I expect for this time of year in my category (toys) but there are many factors which could be considered in the complex reason as to why that might be the case: weather, competition, fads etc.

The word 'random' was well chosen.
You've been around a long time, 007steveb16. Do you keep records of sales by the week, by the month for comparison to other years?
I found doing that soothed DH when he had the shop. He really only saw the big ticket sales the owner got involved in, and didn't realize that the small sales the staff made added up to more. And had higher margins.
The Nunavut sales are interesting. Such a small population! My oddball sale was a few years ago when in the same week I got two sales to tiny Liechtenstein, in two different cities. I didn't know Liechtenstein had two cities.

Those rashes of sales to certain places are absolutely a result of Best Match. If one guy from a tiny town in Spain, likes your stuff and buys it, I'm certain that item shows higher in the next search for that kind of item in Spain. And if that person buys it too, suddenly ebay search Best Match thinks your pants are on fire where Spanish shoppers are concerned. Probably then all your items will rank high in Spanish searches for a limited time. At least that is what I understand. Raphael explained it in one Board Hour http://community.ebay.ca/t5/Weekly-Chat-Session/October-7th-2015-Weekly-Session/td-p/315114/page/2. It's easier for me to do a screenshot than properly attribute it with footnotes

My interest in the lack of sales Thurs & Fri go more hand in hand with my thoughts about how many others experienced an unusual amount of glitches & the "sluggish" nature of the site on those 2 days.
