Shipping to Japan? Canada Post says OK, anyone foresee any problems?

I have to ship an order by Small Pkt Air to Osaka, Japan. Canada Post says it is Okay, no problems except may take longer. I’m thinking it’s alright to ship, I haven’t heard of any problems and what do others think?

Japan Post has been cutting back on International mail this month. But it looks like if Canada Post can get the mail to Japan, then Japan Post will accept and deliver.

This is the situation in dozens of countries regarding International mail. Not a surprise given the tens of thousands of flights cancelled every day. Domestic services are mostly work a bit slow but ok and even that is very regional. If you can get the packages to the destination country then there are few problems in most places.

I don't see a problem with it. I'm still willing to ship items to Japan (although I haven't had my first sale there yet). If I do I have to expect the normal delays.

From what I understand, a toy collector friend of mine in Japan, I believe he still gets the packages he wants from overseas but he has asked me to be the middle man for certain toys businesses won't ship to his address.

I'm also an AZ Prime member and I noticed recently that ordering any DVDs/Blu-rays for my personal collection (at least) through AZ Japan has hit a wall. Normally stuff that was restricted from shipping overseas was in low to mid percentage but recently I tried to order 16 items and all but one was refused.
