Maybe, maybe not.
No guarantee - at this time - those "P" (permanent) stamps will give full value for a letter from April 1st on.
The Royal Mail got burnt a few years ago with those "First Class" and "Second Class" stamps when postal rates went up 53%.
I expect Canada Post will use that experience to minimize revenue losses.
Way back in January 1982, Canada Post issued those "A" stamps values at $0.30 for payment of first class mail. They are still worth only $0.30 and one needs more than two of those "A" stamps to address a domestic letter today. Canada Post may freeze the value of a "P" stamp at $0.63. Who knows?

You can't buy them anymore, they're all put away now, they're only selling ones that have the 63c on them or you get a label.......supposed to be a country wide rule.....
I figured as much, they usually stop or limit sales of P stamps a few weeks before the traditional January increase. That's usually been only a few cents but people were still hoarding. With a 30%+ increase this time they probably sent out the memo yesterday. in anticipation of a run on them.

For what it's worth Costco still has the "P" stamps for sale at $59.99/100 plus tax. I bought a few rolls because I go through about a 200 to 300 a year.
