State Sales Tax no longer displays

Did anyone else notice that the US State Sales Tax no longer displays in the transaction detail in Sellers Hub (Approx. starting Nov 15) and on the eBay/Shippo created packing slips. It seems to have automagically disappeared although when you click on your total sales breakdown you see the following.

Example displayed was not an exempt state. Was this done to reduce transparency for buyer and seller?

It might be that there are still some sellers confused about the whole IST thing.  I would imagine that sellers that are registered to collect sales taxes from Canadian buyers will still see that sales tax field filled in.

I'm not sure who your customers are. I sell quite often to business so I include a packing slip as standard practice. The total on the packing slip would be item total + Shipping + any taxes paid with a final total. It's similar to when you go to Wally World. You get an itemized receipt of all amounts paid. From a sellers perspective if they are paying fees on the total sale, the total sale needs to be displayed/broken down to properly document for tax purposes.

Who says that what the buyer sees at the end of the sale is the same as what the seller sees, though?

A packing slip is nice, but buyers do receive end of auction emails with payment details.  They can always print one of those off if the sales tax information is entered as a separate field.

The US Tax has returned to packing slips and in Sellers Hub. By my best guesstimation it was missing from Nov 9th to Nov 20th. Hey, hey, hey...It's magic!!!

PS. No idea if it was missing on Canadian orders. Not something I collect
