As ebay is judging our shipping performance on Canada Post, I want to find out if I can delay my shipping time by a day or two to allow for canada post/usps delays. What is the maximum days so that I can keep my TRS, at this rate, my TRS will be gone soon and I can blame Canada Post.

Thanks for all the responses. From what I understand there is no guideline as to how many days handling time you can add before you lose your TRS. I have decided to put it as 2 days. I'm still going to mail it the same day if I can, nothing has changed, but I just need to add 2 days to ebays game of estimating the delivery time.
Also does ebay take this into consideration (from Canada Post website)
How is the delivery time calculated?
The delivery time is calculated from the business day after the item is mailed to the first delivery attempt. Don’t count the day the item is mailed, weekends or statutory holidays.
If I am going to be judged on how fast Canada Post delivers, I need to know how ebay is calculating the delivery dates. Hopefully they do not count the day of mailing as a day.
In this example: So someone buys something from me on Friday Oct 16 at 10:30 PM. With a 2 day handling, I have until Tuesday to mail it, they shouldn't count Tues. The count should start Wed. is that right?
Now since I list on both .ca and .com any problems here?

According to some info on the ebay.com boards, the delivery time is based on the handling time + delivery time that the postal services uses. However, I've heard (but can't confirm) that ebay sometimes shortens that time if the seller ships sooner than their handling time states. I don't know if that is true and/or if if it true on both sites. If it's true, you'll get better mileage by changing to the longer economy shipping than by changing your handling time. But it won't hurt to try changing both.
The best way to figure out how ebay is calculating it is to look at your recent sales and compare the estimated delivery time on the order details page.
Re listing on .com - I haven't paid much attention to it but it does seem that often when a Canadian or overseas buyer purchases an item listed on .com, there is no estimated delivery date. I've never tried to figure out if that happens all the time or if it has something to do with me using generic shipping services on the syi form.
