Unpaid Item Dispute

I sold an item on eBay back in January.  The buyer sent a paypal transfer, then cancelled it after I shipped the item. The buyer also requested a refund because of a false claim that the item was not as described, the dispute was resolved in my favour, but the buyer still has not paid for the item.

How is it possible that the buyer can cancel payment after an item is shipped?

Every time I call I get told "We will submit a manual correction, and you will receive your payment" and the money never comes - It's been 20 calls to support and every time they say, "3 to 6 business days for the correction" and I wait and nothing comes.  I am out of pocket on this.

Ebay - your platform is flawed when a seller can be put in this position.

So... Now what do I do?

tyler@ebay   is our go to guy for confusing situations.

Shipping is not, I think, really connected to payment. Paypal is used for much more than eBay sales. I've used to send my contribution to a family gift for a wedding for example.

BTW, actual dates could be useful.  Is "back in January" the fifth? the 29th?

Did you use tracked shipping?

Is a "paypal transfer" the same as a "paypal payment"?
