Which shipping courier?

I have to send a 8kg. Parcel to Malta. Which courier would be the best choice?

Would UPS give me a discount for purchasing the label through PayPal?

What about FedEx?

thanks.

Weight is only one variable. Dimensions are also needed.

Unless the parcel is very large and heavy, use Canada Post. Air Mail only.

Rarely is a commercial courier less expensive or more reliable than the Post Office.

Malta has its own postal system. In spite of its location, it is not part of the Italian system.

There are certainly UPS and I believe FedEx discounts available through Paypal shipping. But there are also discounts on Canada Post counter prices if you use PP shipping labels.

While you can look the rates up on the company websites, you may find it simpler to start a PP shipping label for each service. Just be careful not to agree to any of them before you are sure of all the possible permutations.

And again, Air Mail.

Surface is just too slow for the Buyer Protection Program and your buyer may panic and ask for a refund before a Surface parcel can arrive.

And he will win.

I haven't tried to print out a UPS label on Paypal for years but when I did try, you needed to first register with UPS and have a customer number. I have no idea if it still works like that or what sort of discount is given. Fedex isn't an option on the Paypal shipping site.

Keep in mind that if you use a courier you buyer may have to pay brokerage fees, taxes and duty that are higher than what the postal service might have charged. I suspect that any overseas shipping is going to be very expensive but you could get a quote on the Fedex site yourself. You might want to check DHL as well. If the sale (item cost + shipping) is $750U.S. + make sure that the service allows for a signature in Malta.

I notice that your listings don't have international shipping costs. I really do think that it would be better to do some research before listing so that you know which service and how much it would cost to send an item overseas. Also, the way ebay is set up now, listings are often hidden from a buyer if there is no shipping cost listed for their location.

You have a few listings without a shipping cost to the U.S. as well.

Thanks I shipped the item with UPS.  I went to the store and did everything there.

I got insurance and tracking.

Usually I ship through  Canada post and I usually have a shipping cost or they contact me and ask.

unfortunately this time there was a misunderstanding with the shipping.

Thank you I will take a look at my listings and make sure that everything is ok.
