i used to drop off my letter mail packages to Canada post facility but they always returned my package saying my packages are a little bit more thicker than 2cm but it works when i drop it to shoppers. It's under the venture one program that i got 15% to 20% discount based on what i sent out.
I have 50 mails (mostly 200g and 300g) every day. If i can get some sorta discount, it will save me a lot of money.
Anyone has any experience on this?

In theory your items should be fitting through that 2 cm slot at every post office or postal outlet, but I'm not surprised that the fact differs from the theory.
Remember that the reason for the 2 cm maximum is that thicker items may get caught in 'the machinery', and if you've ever had the horror of visiting a PO terminal (bring ear protection!) you will understand that this will not only destroy your own package but possibly few other innocent packages too.

You can get a 5% to 18% discount on certain parcel rates if you print your labels through Paypal. Neither Canada Post nor PP offer any discount on letter rates.
Venture One only offers a 5% discount.
You can buy discount mint postage on eBay. I'm out at the moment, but look for 'Canada Postage Lots' as your Search. Do NOT purchase lots without gum. These have almost certainly been soaked off mail and are illegal to re-use. (A stamp is a receipt for a service that has not been given. Once they have been used they are no longer valid.) Also those no gum stamps are a pain to fuss with.

Here's a link to the Canada Post small business discount program.
The Level 4 discounts are reasonable if you are doing $7500/year.

There are no discounts for domestic O/S Lettermail.
