blocking a shipping address?

Is there anyway I can block a shipping address. I guess I've been selling to people in China that use drop shipping ever since I started with no problems but now for some reason I have gotten 3 things back in the past month listed as refused from the same drop shipping address . I can't just block buyers because there are so many and new ones will try to buy stuff.

Hello. When you create your listing, towards the bottom click on the link that says "Create/Edit Exclusion List." It will open in a new window. Checkmark the countries you will not ship to and click save. That is all you have to do. Hope this helps.

Re: blocking a shipping address?

thanks , is that for eBay or Paypal addresses ( what I mean by this is the buyers eBay account says they live in Japan but the Paypal shipping address is in the United States ) ? I do have shipping only to the United States and Canada but the problem is they use drop shipping to a company which then redirects the package to them But recently the company has been refusing my items and they get sent back.

Edit : I did double check exclusions list and everything is checked off but United States .

Re: blocking a shipping address?

To begin, if you haven't yet, I would suggest contacting the forwarding company directly to see why they are refusing/returning these shipments. Next step being contacting the buyer, advising them of the issue and perhaps, instead of blocking, you can retain the buyer(s) and hopefully do more business in the future.

Re: blocking a shipping address?

It depends if it is a buyer account shipping to the forwarding company or if it is a buying service who has made the ebay purchase. It's virtually impossible to block a buying service as most maintain dozens of accounts in case one gets shut down.

As for why they may be returned, it's possible the buyers are not including their customer number to identify to the forwarding company who the package is for. These sometimes come in the form of a suite/unit number, a random text/number combination or similar. It also helps if you write the ebay item # on the package. The majority are quite easy to deal with from a seller perspective in my experience, so long as the package is readily identifiable.
